Bit of an oddball here.
Boba is a character I first conceptualized all the way back in July 2025, shortly after DELTARUNE Chapters 3 & 4 came out. It wears its inspirations on its very non-existent sleeves.

For starters, it is directly based off of the Roaring Knight from the aforementioned game, aswell as Tasque Manager from the same game. Up until that point, I had no characters that could be considered abstract in any way, shape or form, and Black Knife was blaring in my head at the time, so… that’s how it was made.
It is an anthropomorphic jackalope-creature comprised of mostly simple shapes and very, very sharp edges. Despite being rounded off in a few areas, it is extremely dangerous, carrying around a dark axe that can pierce through just about anything. If I’m being honest, she genuinely might be the most simple character I’ve made, because I’ve drawn her a billion times in a row without fail. A good friend of mine helped with making her design more refined, adding a neck and shaping the legs and antlers better. Its entire body is comprised of a sort of “unmoving plaid” that was used in Chowder (2007).
That aside, it also takes inspirations from Bea from Night in the Woods, a game I have never played- yet its artstyle is extremely intriguing. The influence mostly shows in the stylistic side of things, but still. In any case, while I don’t remember if her or Fleet (our Mascot) came first, one definitely influenced the other. Of all of the characters I have made over the years, they are definitely the furthest from my usual charade of anthropomorphic furry critters.

I remain exceedingly proud of this design due to just how outlandish it is- not to mention, all of my friends seem to adore her. I do wish I had more of her while it was still in-progress, although to be honest, I didn’t have any references pulled up when I did, anyhow. A lot of the process was just taking things from my mind I thought would fit well and applying them. I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to making something like this again in the future.
